BOOK CORNER: Author/life coach teaches readers to ‘reclamate’ lives

February 10, 2017

Life is filled with overwhelming trials that ultimately test a person’s ability to bounce back. Whether it be through surviving a rocky relationship or breaking generational cycles, people must find a way to reclaim what has been lost in their lives.

Author Alaisha Browder shows readers how to overcome life’s issues in “Reclamate Your Life.” In her book, Browder shares her wisdom and insight on ways to help heal others who may feel consumed by the traumatic and life-altering experiences they face.

“I believe that if hurting people learn how to self-reclamate before going out into the world in an unhealed condition, they will in-turn do more good and will minimize depression, anxiety and other harmful actions caused by emotional hurts,” Browder said.

“Reclamate” is a word the author created to further help verbalize the reclamation process that one experiences in attempting to restore a life to its former glory.
