In “Positive Possibilities: My Game Plan for Success,” author Matthew Jenkins bares the secrets of his game plan for success.
“Sometimes when people have various obstacles in life, they focus on the negative aspects of it,” Jenkins said. “This book will teach you how to flip the coin, your mental coin, and start looking for those good things that can happen as a result of situations.”
During his 30 years of public speaking, Jenkins was encouraged to write a book highlighting his steps to success.
“When I finished speaking, people would ask if I had any literature to pass out on the talk that I gave,” Jenkins said. “For 30 years I heard this and they kept pushing me so I decided to write a book.”
The book is filled with chapters on various situations that occur on life’s journey.
“These life-building habits will occupy the minds and habits of young urban Americans and elevate entire cities, making our country a better place to live for all peoples,” Jenkins said. “It can save our youth, no matter who is the president of the United States, or its circumstances.”
“Positive Possibilities” is intended for men and women of all backgrounds. Readers will benefit by reading, studying and practicing the life-changing methods, ideas and strategies Jenkins shares.
In addition to being an author, Jenkins is a philanthropist and real estate mogul. He is a former veterinarian and served as interim president of Tuskegee University.
Jenkins will host a book signing at 6 p.m. July 11 at the home of Wayne Chaney Sr., 1135 E. Tehachapi Drive, Long Beach.
