Delay expected in trial of two former high-ranking sheriff’s officials

LOS ANGELES — Prosecutors and defense attorneys agreed Friday to delay the federal corruption trial of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s former second-in-command and an ex-captain until next February due to scheduling conflicts.
