Twelve-year old Krista Nicole Campbell was crowned this year’s Little Miss African American, the 24th young girl to receive the recognition.
Campbell was born and raised in Los Angeles into a family of musicians, so she has felt comfortable on stage since she was a little girl. She enjoys singing, which she has done on stages all over the United States in front of tens of thousands of people. Campbell also writes songs; she recently co wrote a new single titled “Well Done,” which she wrote with her mother, Erica Campbell.
Campbell enjoys spending time with her family and friends from church.
