Darrell Brown, senior vice president of the consumer banking group for U.S. Bank, has been honored as a “thought leader” by the African-American Board Leadership Institute.
Brown was recognized for his fulfillment and promotion of the organization’s mission, which is to recruit, prepare and place African Americans on a wide range of governing boards.
Yvette Chappell-Ingram, the CEO and president of the African-American Board Leadership Institute,has been elected to the Phillips Graduate University Board of Trustees.
The university aims to provide hands-on training for those pursuing advanced degrees in counseling and consulting.
