Lynette Johnson, a development specialist for the Los Angeles County Housing Authority, has been elected to sit on the 2016-2018 Empowerment Congress Southwest Area Neighborhood Development Council Board.
The purpose of the council is to promote more citizen participation in local government and to make local government more responsive to local needs.
Johnson is a graduate of the African American Board Leadership Institute.
