COMMERCE — Farmer Boys restaurants celebrated the official ribbon cutting of its 80th restaurant Jan. 23, at 6315 Telegraph Road.
Mayor Tina Baca Del Rio, Miss Commerce and Commerce Industrial Council Chamber of Commerce CEO Eddie Tafoya attended as well as several members of the Commerce Industrial Council.
“We are excited to see the steady growth of our brand outside of our core market in the Inland Empire,” said Kevin Kelly, Farmer Boys vice president of development. “Our belief in farm-fresh ingredients, scratch preparation and cooking to order resonate with consumers in this competitive region.”
“We are thrilled to have Farmer Boys establish a new restaurant in the city of Commerce,” Tafoya said.
“We’re even more thrilled to have them join the Chamber of Commerce.”
Farmer Boys is the third location opened in Los Angeles County since the company began an aggressive growth plan in 2014. This year, an additional six Farmer Boys are scheduled to open in the region, Tafoya said.
Visible from the Santa Ana (5) Freeway and located near the Citadel Outlet Mall and Commerce Casino, the restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner all day while also offering take-out or drive-through service, Tafoya said.
