LOS ANGELES — A coach of a girls’ basketball club team was arrested on suspicion of sexually abusing a 16-year-old girl and Los Angeles police say they believe there may be other victims.
Herman Nash, 46, a coach of the Pacific Elite Basketball Club and a personal trainer in the Los Angeles area was arrested June 18 by detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Sexually Exploited Child Unit Juvenile Division.
The girl told police on June 12 about three sexual abuse incidents. She described three events — one on Nov. 20, 2014, another in December and the third in January. They occurred at different locations.
Nash’s bail was set at $460,000 and the District Attorney’s Office filed nine felony charges.
Anyone with information on the case is asked to call detectives at (213) 486-0580.
