Area school districts are making plans for graduation ceremonies with the Alhambra Unified School District getting a jump on other districts this week.
Century and Independence high schools, the district’s two alternative high schools, hold their graduation at 6 p.m. May 28 at San Gabriel High School Stadium, 801 Ramona St., San Gabriel.
Mark Keppel High School, Alhambra, holds its ceremony at 9 a.m. May 30 at East Los Angeles College, 1301 Avenida Cesar Chavez, Monterey Park.; followed immediately by Alhambra High School’s ceremony at 1 p.m.
San Gabriel High School will hold its ceremony on campus at 6 p.m., May 29.

In the Bellflower Unified School District, Somerset High School seniors will graduate at 6:30 p.m. June 16 on the school campus, 9242 Laurel St. in Bellflower; Bellflower High seniors will graduate at 6:30 p.m. June 17 in Ron Yary Stadium on the school campus, 15303 McNab Ave. in Bellflower; and Mayfair High seniors have commencement ceremonies at 7:30 p.m. June 18 at Yary Stadium.

In the Downey Unified School District, Columbus High School will hold its graduation at 6:30 p.m. June 16 on the school grounds, 12330 Woodruff Ave.
Downey High School will hold its graduation at 6 p.m. June 17 at the Cerritos College Stadium, 11110 Alondra Blvd. in Norwalk
Warren High School will hold its graduation at 6 p.m. June 19 at Cerritos College Stadium.
The Downey Adult School will hold its graduation at 5 p.m. June 25 at the Harriet Paine Event Center at the school, 12340 Woodruff Ave.
