Lynwood High salutes former players

Lynwood High School retired the jerseys of two former girls basketball players during ceremonies Jan. 23 in the school gymnasium.

The numbers 44 of Tyonna Outland (class of 2010), left, and 50 of Lenita Sanford (class of 2007) were retired.

Outland, who recently broke the career scoring record at Cal State Bakersfield, was in attendance for the ceremony.

Sanford, who is playing professionally in Spain, was represented by her mother, Regina Baptiste.
